A "Podcast" or an "RSS feed" is a mechanism for subscribing to audio distributed over the Internet. You will need a program that is capable of subscribing to an "RSS feed" or a "Podcast."
Many Web browsers have RSS capabilities built in.
One of the most popular "Podcast" applications is Apple's "iTunes" software, which you can download for free at: http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
The following is how to subscribe to FBC Sermons in iTunes version 7 for Windows. This is meant as an example.
- Launch the iTunes application, and under "Library" click on "Podcasts"
- Click on "Advanced" and
then "Subscribe to Podcast..."
- In the "URL" box, type "http://www.fbcchester.net/sermons/Rss.php"
then click "OK."
- You will see "Fellowship Bible Church Sermons" in your list of podcasts.
- Click on the arrow to the left of "Fellowship" and the list of available sermons
will be expanded.
Now you can click "GET" for any of the sermons you'd like to download into iTunes!
